Rules

1. Respect for Individual Storylines:
   - Players are encouraged to create and develop their own storylines.
   - Interference in another player's storyline should be mutually agreed upon.

2. Character and Role-Play Integrity:
   - Stay in character while in the sim. Out-of-character (OOC) talk should be limited and clearly marked.
   - No meta-gaming: using OOC information for in-character (IC) advantage is strictly prohibited.

3. Conflict Resolution:
   - Players are responsible for resolving their own in-character conflicts.
   - Admins will not mediate personal role-play disputes.

4. Use of Firearms:
   - Firearms are permitted within role-play scenarios but must align with the sim's modern setting.
   - Military-grade and fully automatic weapons are prohibited.
   - Firearms should be used responsibly and with consideration for the ongoing storylines of others.

5. Non-Consensual Role-Play:
   - All significant role-play actions that significantly affect another character (e.g., violence, robbery) must be            consensual.
   - Use the 'fade to black' approach for situations that may cause discomfort.

6. Age and Content Restrictions:
   - All players must be 18 years or older, in Real Life.
   - Explicit adult content can be used throughout the region.

7. Character Creation and Development:
   - Characters should be realistic and fitting for the modern setting of Shadow Valley.
   - Supernatural or fantastical characters are not permitted.

8. Property and Environmental Respect:
   - Respect the sim's environment and property. Do not modify or damage it without permission.
   - Private properties and areas should be respected; trespassing without consent is not allowed.

9. No Griefing:
   - Harassment, bullying, or any form of griefing is strictly forbidden, we are all adults, solve issues amongst              yourselves, the admin team will not interfere, in any situation. 
   - It is at the players discretion, to mute and/or refuse roleplay with any individual.

10. Ongoing Participation:
   - You are not expected, although encouraged, to roleplay.

​These rules are designed to ensure a balanced and immersive role-playing experience for everyone in Shadow Valley.

While the admins are here to maintain order and ensure the sim runs smoothly, they are not responsible for directing or intervening in individual role-plays.

We encourage creativity, respect, and collaboration to make Shadow Valley a dynamic and engaging community for all role-players.
